Title/Description: Slough Technical School 50th Reunion
Initiated by the interest of many old pupils who now live overseas, the 50th Reunion of the Slough Technical School, formerly located on William Street, will take place at the Copthorne Slough/Windsor Hotel on September 20th 2008. A groundswell of enthusiasm by students from the classes of 1957 through 1961, now living in England, the US, Australia, Canada, the UAR and Europe, promises to make this a highly memorable occasion.

I am a fundraiser for a charity called POWER International based in High Wycombe but working in developing countries.
On May 9th we are running a Charity Golf Team Challenge at the Winter Hill Course in Cookham and we were wondering whether you would be interested to cover this event in your newspaper.
It promises to be a wonderful day. Last year was our first Golf Team Challenge and we raised nearly £3000.
You may be interested that the BBC Lifeline appeal has selected our charity for its 15th June broadcast. They are sending out a team at the end of April to Laos where they will be making a 10 minute film about our work there.
Workshop for those thinking of returning to work after a break. The aim of the workshop is to improve self confidence and gain the skills to sell yourself to employers. Booking is essential, call Lisa 01628 685661 to reserve your place.
